Didn't expect a barge on the canal serving really good breakfasts, to be honest! Coffee was decent but the bacon butty on a fruited teacake with mustard and pickle was an absolute triumph! Very impressed...

The cakes are to die for fantastic selection snacks, alcohol is also served so we can have a cheeky wine or beer sat on the the edge of the canal. Rob and Clare do alot for the community They also raise money for homeless charities. Well worth a visit and say hello
We absolutely love this place and are so glad it became a regular thing on the canal. It's a lovely part of Manchester and the canal connects you to so many other interesting places. We love to wander down on a Sunday, have hotdogs and then have a few rides on the steam train on the park opposite The people who run the boat are always friendly and the prices are very reasonable

Walton Perks is a business that sells coffee and quality cakes snack and refreshments from a barge moored on the Bridgewater Canal between Brooklands and Timperley. It is parked adjacent to Walton Park from which it gets it's name. It's opening hours are 10am to 4pm, Tuesday through Sunday. It provides a welcome respite to walkers, joggers and cyclists on the canal towpath and in the park. The owner and his staff are always helpful and courteous and the wide selection of food and beverage are delicious and of a high quality.
